Game Storyline

Plot Ultimate Ninja Storm 3  begins with the attack of the Nine-tailed Demon Fox of the Konohagakure ninja village while its former leader, Third Hokage  Hiruzen Sarutobi , tries to stop it. The current leader of Konohagakure, Fourth Hokage  Minato Namikaze , faces the masterminds behind the attack:  Madara Uchiha  and the fox. The story then moves to some time after  Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 ' s; the five leaders of the ninja village face  Sasuke Uchiha , who intends to kill acting  hokage  Danzo Shimura. Madara saves Sasuke and declares a world war against the ninja forces. In the next chapter, Sasuke's former comrades from Konohagakure try to kill Sasuke until  Naruto Uzumaki  convinces him to have a death match. Naruto trains to obtain the power of the fox with the help of Killer Bee and the spirit of his mother,  Kushina Uzumaki . Plot T he game's adventure mode covers the original manga and anime's beginning with the return of young ninja  Naruto Uzumaki  to his ninja village, Konohagakure, after three years of training with  Jiraiya . Across the story mode, Naruto and his allies fight many enemies from a criminal organization known as Akatsuki. Starting with the first chapter, they capture  Gaara , once leader of the Sunagakure village. The second chapter follows Naruto's team in their failed attempt to take former ally  Sasuke Uchiha  from the criminal  Orochimaru . The following two chapters focus on Konohagakure member  Shikamaru Nara  as his team again battles new members from Akatsuki. The next chapter has Sasuke betraying and defeating Orochimaru while forming his own ninja team to track down his older brother,  Itachi , who murdered his entire clan years ago. Plot Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm  retains many of the gameplay elements from earlier installments of the  Ultimate Ninja  series. However,  Ultimate Ninja Storm  allows players to fight in three-dimensional environments, as opposed to the two-dimensional planes in previous games. One of the new features introduced to the series in  Ultimate Ninja Storm  is "Awakening Mode", a transformation that can be activated when a player loses a certain amount of health during a match. The health requirement for each character differs based on how powerful the transformation is. Once activated, the character gains new abilities, speed, and stronger attacks. A few of the characters in the game gain entirely new movesets after transforming. Plot A year after the  events in Atlantis , the unexplained and continual strengthening of  Earth's magnetic field  has started to disrupt global satellite communications and is adversely affecting the environment. The Assassins receive a mysterious signal leading them to co-ordinates in  New England , where Layla Hassan, Shaun Hastings, and Rebecca Crane exhume the remains of a Viking raider. Layla, struggling under the influence of the Staff of Hermes and her guilt over her involvement in the death of Victoria Bibeau, enters the Animus to view the raider's memories. In 9th-century Norway, during a feast honoring King Styrbjorn of the Raven Clan, a young Eivor Varinsdottir [e]  witnesses the sacking of her hometown by rogue warlord Kjotve the Cruel. Plot Two years after the events of  Dragon Ball Xenoverse , the protagonist receives a special mission from Elder Kai, which involves correcting history after it has changed. On the way there, they meet the Supreme Kai of Time, a  deity  who watches over time, and her bird, TokiToki. After meeting Elder Kai, they are granted their first mission, which is to correct  Goku 's battle with Raditz after he's been enhanced by dark magic. Meanwhile, Towa and Mira, who've caused history to change, have gathered allies, including Turles, Lord Slug, and a mysterious masked Saiyan, later revealed to be Goku's father, Bardock, from different parts of the timeline. During the Attack of the Saiyans Saga, Turles attempts to intercept Goku to prevent him from assisting the Z Fighters against Nappa and  Vegeta , only to be stopped by the combined forces of the Time Patroller and Goku. Plot Unlike the previous games of the series that usually follow the original  Dragon Ball  story,  Xenoverse  features an entirely new story, featuring the player's custom character. The 2014 V-Jump #7 issue, in which the game was announced, draws attention to a mysterious figure watching the first battle between  Goku  and  Vegeta  from the shadows. With red hair, a scouter, and the Capsule Corporation logo on his sleeve, this character's identity was not clear. However, it was later revealed that this character is in fact a newly created character, confirming character creation feature. Another returning character is Time Patrol  Trunks  from  Dragon Ball Online , who helps the player. Two new areas are also showcased: a completely new area named the Time Vault, and the other being a high-tech city with what appears to be a Time Machine landed on it. Plot The game takes place sometime between "Universe 6" and "Future Trunks" arcs of  Dragon Ball Super . The game's main antagonist, Android 21 (or later, her evil-half), was a normal female human who eventually became an Android created by the Red Ribbon Army after her son became the model for Android 16. Once she awakens, she repairs 16 and uses the Dragon Balls to resurrect Frieza, Cell, Nappa, and the Ginyu Force, and seals away the powers and souls of all of Earth's strongest warriors. Wanting to control the hungry monster within her, she and 16 develop a linking system originally created by Dr. Gero in which a human soul (the player) can possess the warriors and provide them strength. Super Warrior Arc The player possesses Goku and awakens next to Bulma, who asks him to confront the Earth's current crisis.
