Game Storyline

Plot: In 1992, following his mother's murder in a  drive-by shooting , CJ returns home to Los Santos to attend her funeral. Upon arrival, he is intercepted by C.R.A.S.H., who threaten to frame him for the recent murder of a police officer (actually killed by them for trying to expose their corruption) unless he co-operates with them. After leaving them, CJ reunites with Sweet, Kendl, Big Smoke, and Ryder at the funeral, and learns that the Grove Street Families have lost most of their influence and territories to their main rivals, the Ballas. CJ agrees to stay in Los Santos until the gang's problems are resolved, and works closely with his brother and friends to restore the Families' strength. During this time, he also befriends Cesar Vialpando after discovering he genuinely cares for Kendl, and helps to jumpstart OG Loc's rapper career. Plot: In 1986, mobster  Tommy Vercetti  (voiced by  Ray Liotta ) is released from prison after serving a fifteen-year sentence for murder. His boss Sonny Forelli ( Tom Sizemore ), seeking to establish drug operations in the south, sends Tommy to Vice City to oversee an important drug deal alongside crooked lawyer Ken Rosenberg ( William Fichtner ). However, the deal is ambushed by unknown assailants, with Tommy and Ken barely escaping it. Angered upon hearing the news, Sonny orders Tommy to recover the drugs, alongside the money he gave to him, under threat of consequences. Seeking information, Ken points Tommy towards Colonel Juan Garcia Cortez ( Robert Davi ), who helped set up the exchange. Expressing regret for the ambush, Cortez promises to find out who masterminded it. Plot Small-time criminal Claude is betrayed and shot by his girlfriend Catalina (voiced by Cynthia Farrell) during a bank heist outside Liberty City. Claude is arrested, but escapes during his transfer to prison when members of the  Colombian Cartel  ambush his transport to abduct another prisoner. During his escape, Claude befriends explosives expert and fellow convict 8-Ball ( Guru ), who shelters Claude and introduces him to the Leone  Mafia  family for work. Claude assists the Mafia with various operations, including winning a gang war against a local group of  Triads , earning him the respect of  Don  Salvatore Leone ( Frank Vincent ). After learning that the Cartel are creating and selling a new street drug called SPANK to fund their expansion into Liberty City, Salvatore orders Claude to destroy their floating drug lab. Plot Frieza  attacks  New York City  with an army of Venoms, being confronted by  Son Goku ; however, a stray laser blast from Frieza fatally wounds a civilian in the war zone.  Trunks  revives the civilian with a cybernetic device called an umbras cube, giving them the potential to be a hero like them. Frieza withdraws, allowing Goku and Trunks to take the civilian back to their HQ, where they are greeted by Director Glover. Glover explains that the manga worlds from " Jump " have somehow begun merging with the real world and using their own umbras cubes to turn evil-hearted humans into Venoms, forcing him to create the Jump Force to quell the threat; the organization consists of heroes from the "Jump" worlds, along with other people saved through the cubes. Plot The  downloadable content   Road to Boruto  is set fifteen years after the Fourth Ninja War. The adult Sasuke Uchiha battles two unknown fighters descendant from Kaguya Otsutsuki. Meanwhile, Naruto's son,  Boruto Uzumaki , a young ninja, trains with  Sarada Uchiha  and  Mitsuki  under  Konohamaru Sarutobi . The village is peaceful (thanks to Akatsuki's defeat), but Boruto is annoyed that his father misses  Himawari Uzumaki 's birthday due to having become a busy person due to his job as the Leaf's leader, the Seventh Hokage. Returning to the village, Sasuke tells Naruto about the two Otsutsuki fighters he met; he meets Boruto, and becomes his new teacher. During a ninja examination to improve rankings, Momoshiki and Kinshiki invade Konohagakure. Naruto allows himself to be kidnapped by the enemies to protect the village; Sasuke then gathers the other leaders from other villages and Boruto to rescue him. Plot The story begins with a fight to the death battle the founders of Hidden Leaf Village:  Hashirama Senju  and  Madara Uchiha . Several years later, the Fourth Great Ninja War is fought by the allied Shinobi forces from the village where  Naruto Uzumaki  reveals that the villain leading  Akatsuki  is  Obito Uchiha : the presumed-dead best friend of Naruto's mentor,  Kakashi Hatake . Obito and his partner, the reanimated  Madara Uchiha , awaken the legendary Ten Tails creature to defeat Shinobi forces. The rebellious  Sasuke Uchiha  is uncomfortable with his hatred of Hidden Leaf Village, and has the Konohagakure leaders (the Hokages) reanimated to learn about the village's origin. Plot Ultimate Ninja Storm 3  begins with the attack of the Nine-tailed Demon Fox of the Konohagakure ninja village while its former leader, Third Hokage  Hiruzen Sarutobi , tries to stop it. The current leader of Konohagakure, Fourth Hokage  Minato Namikaze , faces the masterminds behind the attack:  Madara Uchiha  and the fox. The story then moves to some time after  Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 ' s; the five leaders of the ninja village face  Sasuke Uchiha , who intends to kill acting  hokage  Danzo Shimura. Madara saves Sasuke and declares a world war against the ninja forces. In the next chapter, Sasuke's former comrades from Konohagakure try to kill Sasuke until  Naruto Uzumaki  convinces him to have a death match. Plot T he game's adventure mode covers the original manga and anime's beginning with the return of young ninja  Naruto Uzumaki  to his ninja village, Konohagakure, after three years of training with  Jiraiya . Across the story mode, Naruto and his allies fight many enemies from a criminal organization known as Akatsuki. Starting with the first chapter, they capture  Gaara , once leader of the Sunagakure village. The second chapter follows Naruto's team in their failed attempt to take former ally  Sasuke Uchiha  from the criminal  Orochimaru . The following two chapters focus on Konohagakure member  Shikamaru Nara  as his team again battles new members from Akatsuki. The next chapter has Sasuke betraying and defeating Orochimaru while forming his own ninja team to track down his older brother,  Itachi , who murdered his entire clan years ago. Plot Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm  retains many of the gameplay elements from earlier installments of the  Ultimate Ninja  series. However,  Ultimate Ninja Storm  allows players to fight in three-dimensional environments, as opposed to the two-dimensional planes in previous games. One of the new features introduced to the series in  Ultimate Ninja Storm  is "Awakening Mode", a transformation that can be activated when a player loses a certain amount of health during a match. The health requirement for each character differs based on how powerful the transformation is. Once activated, the character gains new abilities, speed, and stronger attacks. A few of the characters in the game gain entirely new movesets after transforming. With the d-pad, players can use preset items during a match that either damage the opponent or provide various status effects like increasing attack power, or lowering the opponent's defense. Plot Two years after the events of  Dragon Ball Xenoverse , the protagonist receives a special mission from Elder Kai, which involves correcting history after it has changed. After meeting Elder Kai, they are granted their first mission, which is to correct  Goku 's battle with Raditz after he's been enhanced by dark magic. Meanwhile, Towa and Mira, who've caused history to change, have gathered allies, including Turles, Lord Slug, and a mysterious masked Saiyan, later revealed to be Goku's father, Bardock, from different parts of the timeline. Plot Unlike the previous games of the series that usually follow the original  Dragon Ball  story,  Xenoverse  features an entirely new story, featuring the player's custom character. The 2014 V-Jump #7 issue, in which the game was announced, draws attention to a mysterious figure watching the first battle between  Goku  and  Vegeta  from the shadows. With red hair, a scouter, and the Capsule Corporation logo on his sleeve, this character's identity was not clear. However, it was later revealed that this character is in fact a newly created character, confirming character creation feature. Another returning character is Time Patrol  Trunks  from  Dragon Ball Online , who helps the player. Two new areas are also showcased: a completely new area named the Time Vault, and the other being a high-tech city with what appears to be a Time Machine landed on it. Plot The game takes place sometime between "Universe 6" and "Future Trunks" arcs of  Dragon Ball Super . The game's main antagonist, Android 21 (or later, her evil-half), was a normal female human who eventually became an Android created by the Red Ribbon Army after her son became the model for Android 16. Once she awakens, she repairs 16 and uses the Dragon Balls to resurrect Frieza, Cell, Nappa, and the Ginyu Force, and seals away the powers and souls of all of Earth's strongest warriors. Plot Training With Whis - Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Whis offers two types of training, Super Level-Up Training and Limit Break Training. At first only the former will be available to the player, which consists of a  series of battles against Whis  at various levels. The unique thing about these battles is the battle conditions tied to each one. These battle conditions modify the fight, such as increasing the player's melee damage or reducing the Ki cost of the player's super attacks, and should inform the player on the best strategy to use if they find themselves struggling to beat one of the training missions. These missions are set at levels 5, 25, 45, 70, 100, 150, and 200 and reward items that grant experience points. The other type of training Whis offers is  Limit Break  Training, which serves as an alternate method to unlock transformations.
